The scheduled swearing-in ceremony of the Perak Mentri Besar has been cancelled.

The scheduled 4 pm swearing-in ceremony of the Perak Mentri Besar has been cancelled.

Why? Political observers said something is happening. Is it because the Regent of Perak not happy or other party not happy again?

First thing in the morning, the Star reported that "the saga of who will head the coalition government in Perak has taken a dramatic turn, with DAP adviser Lim Kit Siang ordering his party assemblymen to stay away from the swearing-in of the Mentri Besar -- and they have chosen to defy him."

Before we go into more discussion, arguement, and deliberation, we read Lim Kit Siang's blog that he has already apologized for any offence caused to Perak Regent for his statement on Wednesday over MB’s post.

Then we heard that the DAP chief Ngeh Koo Ham said that all parties in the DAP-PKR-PAS coalition will attend the swearing-in of PAS nominated Perak MB at 4 pm today.

We thought everything is back to normal although we heard news that "PKR accepts PAS nominated MB in Perak but not Exco seat allocation, warns it will not take part in administration if composition is not fair."

Later, we heard that PAS president Hj Abdul Awang has thanked Perak Sultan for appointing its nominee as MB and pledged cooperation to DAP and PKR in state’s administration.

We thought Perak will have a new beginning. However, before we could even celebrate, we heard that the scheduled 4 pm swearing-in ceremony of the Perak Mentri Besar has been cancelled.

What we can ask is Why? Tell me why?

In Selangor, we heard that the Sultan has given MB Khalid Ibrahim until March 22 to decide the exco line-up and conduct swearing-in ceremony. Hope there is no power struggle. Of course, we heard there are some power struggle going on.

All eyes are watching. We want to see how the Opposition parties run their administrative affairs.

In another event, Ramasamy and Fairus have already sworn-in as deputies in Penang. Penang CM Lim Guan Eng seems to be in control. He has also appointed his exco line-up as follows:

Chow Kon Yeow, Lim Hock Seng, Law Heng Kiang, Phee Boon Poh, Wong Hon Wai, Ong Kok Foi, Abdul Malik Kassim and Law Choo Kiang.

Mr Lim told the media that there will be no witch hunting on previous government and gives assurance that Malays in the state won’t be marginalized.

The event in Perak and Selangor will continue....
