DAP adviser, Lim Kit Siang called a media conference this after at DAP Ipoh Timur OPs centre, alleging that MCA president Ong Ka Ting is building up of a Ong Brothers political empire in the MCA over the bodies of MCA leaders, including Ministers and parliamentarians.
Lim said Ong should heed the rumble of discontent in MCA for his action.
Let me just quote what Lim Kit Siang had said in his statement appearing in his blog:
Two MCA Ministers had recently fallen by the wayside – Chan Kong Choy and Chua Soi Lek. Who is really responsible for their downfall?
Chan must be held responsible for the RM4.6 billion Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ) scandal, the biggest financial scandal in the Abdullah premiership which is even bigger than Mahathir’s first mega financial scandal, the RM2.5 billion Bumiputra Malaysia Finance scandal 25 years ago!
Chan cannot escape accountability for the RM4.6 billion PKFZ scandal, but it is unfair if he is alone left to “eat dead cat” as the entire Cabinet, including Ka Ting, cannot shirk responsibility as well.
Is it true that Ka Ting is the reason why Chan dropped as a MCA candidate in the 2008general election?
Who was responsible for the political “killing” of MCA National Vice Chairman and Health Minister, Datuk Seri Dr. Chua Soi Lek over the sex videotape scandal?
This is not an outside job but a MCA high-level operation. Was Ka Ting responsible for Chua’s removal from the MCA front-line of contenders for the top political post in MCA?
Be that as it may, Ka Ting should not try to distract attention from his MCA troubles by hurling defamatory allegations against DAP leaders.
Whether Ong Ka Ting is building a Ong Brothers political empire is yet to be known because only time will tell. After the general eletion is the MCA party election, you can just find out because everything will be in the open. Now, everone just want to win the general election. They said the country first then the party.
I have just checked the MCA website and found an article listing out 8 offenses of DAP as follows:
1. Talk only but no action

5. Fight for seats with Party Keadilan

8. Chinese against the Chinese
大选期间各政党之间的战情愈演愈烈，民主行动党秘书长林冠英更提出大选八大议题对峙宿敌——马华，张口直喊不要让巫统一党做大！国阵成员党之一的马华公会也作出反击动作，清楚列明行动党的八大罪状，促请行动党向华社做出交待！
罪状1：只讲不做
除了空喊口号、拉布条、发文告、玩弄课题，企图煽动人民的情绪以外，行动党只会说不会做，并且是非常典型以捞取选票为本质的“季节性政党”。
行动党章瑛在2007年7月9日的报章公开证实行动党“只讲不做，若要行动党做事就如要公鸡生蛋一样难”。
罪状2：不民主
林吉祥担任秘书长30年期间，无论是在什么年代，只要是异己者，一律铲除。过去华教人士李万千、柯嘉逊等人就因不满林吉祥的独裁政治而退党。
子承父业的林冠英也同样继承了林吉祥的独裁传统，在其领导时期，在党内受到排挤的王志坚、林辉明等人纷纷退党，而日前曾宣布退选、后又复出竞选的冯宝君很大程度也是因为行动党内不民主文化影响下才会上演“退选、复选”戏码。
罪状3：空白华教成绩单
行动党年入不下百万，可是却不对华教做出建设，以致该党成立多年，至今连区区一份“近十年为华教建设的名单”也无法呈交，对华社有欠交待！
罪状4：勾结回教党
继1999年大选与回教党结盟后，2004年大选仍然不知悔改，虽然表面已和回教党没有瓜葛，实际上仍隔着公正党与回教党暗渡陈仓，藕断丝连。
罪状5：与公正党争夺议席
行动党为了增加胜算，与公正党协商以达至1对1 的方式对撼国阵，无奈与因利益而结合的公正党多州议席谈判不拢，最终出现三角战，这就是把党的利益置于选民之上的最佳写照。
罪状6：太监政治
林冠英通过中央党工及亲信，暗地里以违反民主组织正常运作的手段夺权。最终逼使雪州行动党主席王志坚退位把主席之职拱手让给寂寂无名的小卒欧阳捍华，为林冠英日后入主雪州铺路。
罪状7：挂羊头卖狗肉
行动党自称多元种族政党，却不敢到马来选区上阵，只会往华人选区叫嚣；不断挑起华社课题，名为多元种族政党，实为单一种族政党。
罪状8：以华制华
行动党自称多元种族政党，为何在2004年大选竞选的44个国会议席中，有九成以上所对撼的对手都是华裔？行动党除了专打华人区削弱华裔力量，用尽方法诋毁马华，企图抹煞马华作出的努力之外，还能有什么作为？
民主行动党多年以来的“投机性”始终如一，并没有随着时代的演进而有所改变，仍然坚持多年以前的竞争模式来进行政治工作。马华所列出的八大罪状完全点出行动党一直以来无法自我冲破障碍的事实。行动党若要成为真正“实在”、为民请命的政党，务必先请解释以上罪状的种种，否则又怎么能让人民真正放心委予重任？
It is interesting to see how DAP and MCA fight and hitting at each other, but most important thing is the people must benefit. At the end of the day, we must vote wisely and let the right party in charge so that the country will move forward.
