BN accepts the Palace's decision on Terengganu MB

According to Malaysiakini, Umno president Abdullah Ahmad Badawi today said the party had asked former Terengganu menteri besar Idris Jusoh to accept the Terengganu palace’s decision to appoint Ahmad Said as the menteri besar.

Apparently, with Abdullah and BN also accepting the palace's decision on the appointment of Ahmad Said as Terengganu Mentri Besar, what is unconstitutional also has become constitutional.

The issue is closed for Terengganu. Of course, there are many questions unanswered, however, because it involved the palace and the PM, therefore, it is best not to discuss openly.

Umno management committee which met yesterday unanimously agreed that the party’s elections should not be postponed, says VP Muhyiddin Yassin.

The swearing-in ceremony for Perak state Exco members will be held at 11am on Saturday, March 29, at Istana Iskandariah in Kuala Kangsar.

Umno AGM and party elections are to be held on Dec 16-20. There is no change to election process.

PM Abdullah says he is ready to face any challenger.
