Banting murders: Farmhands' 7-year jail term increased to 20

SHAH ALAM: The High Court here has amended a 7-year jail term for two farmhands’, who were convicted with disposing evidence in the murder of cosmetic millionaire Datuk Sosilawati Lawiya and three others, to 20 years each.

Justice Mohtarudin Baki passed the sentence on U. Suresh and K. Sarawanan here on Monday after finding that the magistrate's court had erred in passing the 7-year jail term.
