Thugs involved in Mahkota Cheras barrier

27/5 Mahkota Cheras residents who had gathered from afternoon to dismantle new barricade built to block toll-free access have dispersed voluntarily.

And you know why? Because there is a group of thugs involved.

From the newspaper report, Utusan Malaysia photographer Roy Azis Abdul Aziz was beaten up when he tried to snap some photographs.

Several residents were attacked by the group armed with sticks and helmets.

Several cars parked at the roadside were also smashed by the group.

The group of men sat on the blocks, not allowing the residents to remove them and threatened to attack those who tried to go near the barricade. However, the group disappeared when the police arrived later.

Getting ugly? Are we still a civilized society or we can take the law at out own hands?

28/5 Dewan Rakyat passed part of Supplementary Supply Bill 2007 through block voting instead of voice for the first time;92 voted for and 60 against.
