Heated moment at Parliament this morning

There were heated arguement this morning in Parliament when the Speaker disallowed supplementary question because of time constrained.

Lim Kit Siang wanted the speaker explained why he disablowed supplementary question. The PM suggested to the speaker to allow one or two questions. Later, the speaker allowed only one supplementary question.

The viewers loved to see the heated arguements between the speaker and the opposition MPs during the Parliament sitting.

PAS’s motion to discuss review of oil royalty agreement between Federal government and Terengganu state government was rejected by Dewan Rakyat.

Ling Ling, the famous male giant panda that China presented to Japan as a gift in 1992, died in a Tokyo zoo because of old age. He was 22 years 7 months old.

Information Minister Ahmad Shabery said the ministry will re-look into live telecast of Parliament sitting. He said that this morning’s disruptions was because MPs played to the gallery.
